There’s something so special about photographing a couple who are completely comfortable together, and Alex and Garrett made this engagement session such a joy from beginning to end.


We met at the beautiful rock garden in Harmon Park, one of my favorite spots for its peaceful paths, gorgeous stonework, and timeless scenery. Even though the temperatures were soaring, Alex and Garrett never let the heat get in the way of enjoying the evening. They kept smiling, laughing, and making the most of every moment together.

One of my favorite parts of their session happened right at the beginning when they brought along their cat for a few photos! I always love when couples include a beloved pet because it adds such a personal touch to their story. It was the perfect way to capture this season of life and celebrate the little family they’ve already built together.

As we wandered through the rock garden, it was easy to see how much these two care about one another. The way they looked at each other, laughed together, and simply enjoyed being in each other’s company made every photo feel genuine. Those authentic moments are always my favorite because they’re the ones that tell the real story.
